END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (EULA)
By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Training ID Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Where the app provides communication, public chat, newsfeed or other interactive features, users must expressly accept these Terms before accessing those features. Acceptance must be an affirmative action; the acceptance control must not be pre-selected.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service or its interactive features. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, training provider, employer, school, college or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where a change is material, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable and, where required, ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the relevant features.
Training ID is a digital credential and communication platform. Depending on the features made available to your account, the Service may allow users to:
The features available to you may depend on your account type, the organisation you are associated with, and any subscription or service arrangement that applies.
You must provide information that is accurate and keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity carried out through your account. Do not share your credentials or allow another person to use your account.
Notify Training ID promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, misuse or a security issue. We may require verification of identity or organisational authority where reasonably necessary to protect users, credentials or the Service.
You must not create an account using another person's identity, impersonate an organisation, or attempt to access an account or information without permission.
Training ID provides tools for storing, issuing, displaying and verifying digital records. Training ID does not itself guarantee that every certificate, qualification, licence, profile or item of information supplied by a user or third party is genuine, current, complete or accurate.
The organisation or training provider that issues a credential is responsible for the accuracy and authority of the information it issues. Employers and other recipients remain responsible for carrying out any checks required for their own purposes, including checking the status, validity and relevance of a qualification or licence.
QR codes and other verification tools are intended to help recipients check credential information. They should not be treated as a guarantee beyond the information actually made available through the verification process.
You are responsible for deciding when and with whom to share your credentials, subject to any permissions, legal obligations or settings applicable to the Service. Do not upload or share documents or personal information that you are not authorised to use or disclose.
“User Content” means information, documents, photographs, messages, posts, announcements or other material that you upload, submit, issue, publish or transmit through the Service.
You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights, permissions and lawful basis required to upload, issue, share or distribute it. Organisations and training providers are responsible for ensuring that content issued through their accounts is authorised and appropriate for its intended recipients.
Content posted to public chat or a public newsfeed may be visible to a wider group of users than private or organisation-specific communications. Check the audience and sharing settings before publishing content. Do not use public communication features to disclose confidential, sensitive or personal information without proper authority.
Training ID may host, display and process User Content to operate, secure and provide the Service, to enable the sharing and verification functions requested by users, to investigate reports and to enforce these Terms. This does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Training ID.
Training ID has a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive users. You must not use the Service to harass, threaten, intimidate, bully, exploit, defame or abuse another person or organisation.
The following are prohibited:
This list is not exhaustive. Training ID may determine that other content or behaviour is unacceptable where it breaches these Terms, creates a safety or security risk, or is unlawful.
The Service is intended to provide an in-app mechanism for reporting objectionable content, messages or users. Use the “Report” function associated with the relevant post, message or profile wherever it is available. If an in-app reporting option is not available or is not working, contact the support/moderation email identified above.
A report should identify the relevant content or account and, where possible, explain why it is considered objectionable. Reports will be sent to Training ID or its designated moderation team for review. Reporting does not guarantee that the reported content will be removed, but reports will be assessed as promptly as reasonably practicable, with priority given to credible threats, serious abuse and risks to safety.
Training ID may restrict visibility, remove content, warn a user, limit account functions, suspend an account or terminate access where appropriate. We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to assess a report. Knowingly false or malicious reports may themselves breach these Terms.
Users may use the “Block User” function to block another user whose conduct or content they consider abusive, threatening, harassing or otherwise inappropriate.
When a user blocks another user, the Service is intended to:
The developer/moderation notification should identify the relevant accounts and, where available, the post, message or content that led to the block. Training ID may review the information and take further action, including removing content or restricting, suspending or terminating an account.
Blocking is a protective user control and does not, by itself, establish that the blocked user has breached these Terms. Training ID may retain relevant report and block information for moderation, security, legal compliance and enforcement purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Training ID may use preventative controls, filters, moderation procedures and user reports to reduce objectionable content and abuse. We may review content where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, respond to reports, protect users, investigate suspected breaches or comply with law.
We may hide, restrict, remove or disable access to content that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably consider creates a risk to users, the Service or third parties. In serious cases, we may act without prior notice. We may also suspend or terminate an account for a breach of these Terms, repeated misconduct, unlawful activity, fraud, security interference or attempts to evade moderation.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may notify an affected user of a moderation decision and its general reason, subject to legal, privacy, safeguarding and security considerations.
Some Training ID features or organisational services may be free, while certain services for training providers, employers or other organisations may require a subscription or fee. The applicable price, billing period, features and cancellation terms will be shown before a paid subscription or purchase is confirmed.
Where a subscription renews automatically, the renewal terms and method of cancellation will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Deleting the app or account may not cancel a subscription purchased through a separate payment provider or app store; you must follow the applicable cancellation process.
Payments, invoices, taxes and refunds will be handled in accordance with the terms shown at purchase and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or statutory cancellation or refund rights.
If payments are processed by a third-party payment provider or app store, that provider's payment terms may also apply.
You may use the Service only for its intended purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Training ID and its licensors retain ownership of the Service, its software, design, branding and associated intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, Training ID grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You grant Training ID a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display and process your User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Service, enable features you choose to use, respond to reports and enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
Training ID processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the GDPR where applicable. Information associated with accounts, credentials, communications, reports and blocks may be processed to provide the Service, verify credentials, protect users, investigate alleged breaches, enforce these Terms and maintain platform security.
Personal data will be accessed, shared and retained only as permitted by applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Please read the Privacy Policy for details of the data processed, the purposes and legal bases for processing, retention periods, recipients and your rights.
Do not use the Service to upload personal data about another person unless you have the necessary authority and lawful basis to do so.
The Service may link to or rely on third-party websites, services or payment providers. Those third parties may apply their own terms and privacy policies. Training ID is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily imply endorsement.
Training ID will take reasonable steps to operate and maintain the Service but does not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued for operational, security, legal or business reasons.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Training ID does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, validity or suitability of information or User Content supplied by users or third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Training ID is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from the conduct or content of other users or third parties. This provision does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any mandatory rights of consumers, liability for fraud, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Users remain responsible for checking credentials and information for their own purposes and for making appropriate decisions based on the information available to them.
You may stop using the Service at any time, subject to any separate subscription or payment arrangements. Training ID may suspend or terminate access in accordance with these Terms, including where necessary to protect users, enforce moderation decisions, maintain security or comply with law.
We may add, change or remove features. Where a material change significantly affects users, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable and where required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to mandatory rights that apply to users in their place of residence. Disputes will be dealt with by the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a specific paid service, form the agreement governing your use of the Service.
